Bob joined the Company in 1973. After working in the warehouse, he moved through purchasing and on to inside sales. He then took a position in outside sales, covering a territory from Gilman, VT to Eastport, ME. His next position was to oversee engineering, drafting, fabrication and machine shops. In 1996 he was appointed to Vice President and in 2002 assumed the position of President.

Tim joined the Company in 1984 as an outside salesman after working for one of Lane’s competitors. Tim’s territory covers much of central and eastern Maine and he is the “go-to” person for special sales calls outside the Company’s normal territory. Tim is currently leading Lane’s push into the waste-to-energy and waste processing industries. He is often asked to work with the other salesmen on special circumstances and has developed a reputation both inside and outside of the Company as an accomplished problem solver.

Mike joined the Company in 1976, beginning in the warehouse. He then moved through purchasing to inside sales. Next, he worked in engineering as an estimator and project manager. His next move was on to outside sales, which he continues to do today. He covers most of southern Maine as well as parts of New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont and New York.

FRED PATTERSON

Fred joined the Company in 1989. After working in the warehouse, he moved to the engineering department as an estimator and project manager. Soon thereafter he served as an assistant to Bob Taylor (the production manager at the time), overseeing engineering, drafting, project management, the fabrication shop, and the machine shop. When Bob was promoted to senior management, Fred took over as Production manager.
