This is an example of a plastic belt conveyor used primarily in the packaging and food industries. Belt conveyors often utilize a rubber belt in the bulk handling of coal, wood chips, gravel, pulp/waste paper bales, etc. Because of its properties, this type of system is ideal for moving products over long distances. Other examples include slider bed and troughing belt conveyors.
